Lucy Agnes Zapata Lighthizer was born on June 12, 1930 to Luz Casillas Zapata and Pedro Zapata. She joined her parents and her loving husband Daemon L. Lighthizer on July 15, 2012. Lucy was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was involved with her church and Catholic Charities. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, her sister and brother-in-law Lupe and Milton Navarro, her guardians, Rosa and Henry Casillas. Lucy is survived by her sister Catalina Zapata, her daughters Tina Koenig and husband, David, Tami Rice and husband, Frank. Grandchildren Sara and Frankie Rice, and J.D. and Laura Rouser. Nephew Felix Navarro and wife, Andrea and many wonderful cousins. Rosary: 7:00 p.m. Wednesday and Mass of Christian Burial; 10:00 a.m. Thursday both at the Church of the Madalene, Tulsa.
