Jane Carter, 79, returned to Heaven, and the love of her life, on Saturday, May 4, 2019. Jane entered this life on September 20, 1939, and was welcomed in North Platte, Nebraska, by her parents, Martha and Charles Paul Richardson, and in 1944 they welcomed Jane's sister, Mary. The family moved to several places, including the Chicago area, but landed in Edina, Minnesota, where Jane graduated high school in 1957. Jane moved to Oklahoma to attend OU. There, in the Spring of 1958, she met the love of her life, John William Carter. They married on December 27, 1958 in Minnesota, and then moved to Tulsa, where they lived together for 58 years. In addition to being the Business Manager at John's business, Machine Engineering Company, Jane was also very involved in raising their two daughters, PTA, volunteering, being a "class mother", making baby blankets, supporting groups that support our US troops, and being a leader for 2 Camp Fire groups.
Jane is survived by her daughters, Laura Carter of Tulsa, Belinda Haddock and husband Heath of Colorado, granddaughters Briana and Erica Haddock, her sister Mary Lane and husband Bob of Florida, grandson Ronnie Ladigo, with parents Mike and Christine of Mannford, sister-in-law Patricia Hildebrand, 8 nieces and nephews, cousin and best friend, Brenda Huxoll, cousins and friends Anne & Mike Hitchcock, her step mother Ann Richardson, a large extended family, and many friends.
