M. Diane Scott, 73, of Tulsa, went to be with her Lord, on Sunday, April 23, 2017. Diane was born on May 4, 1943, in Pottsville, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Anthony and Julia (Revak) Laelas. She had attained her Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry, and had worked as a real estate agent for over 41 years in the Tulsa area.
She was a woman of great faith, and stayed active in her church. Diane loved to cook, specializing in handmade pierogis, a classic Czechoslovakian Christmas Eve meal. She liked watching the Food Network, Wheel of Fortune, and enjoyed a glass of wine, on occasion. She had the mind of a steel trap, and would never be caught out and about without her hair and makeup being done. She had a love for animals, having three four legged children, Mysti, the senior cat, Hallie, the middle child, and Bella, her newest love. Now that she's in heaven, she has a closet full of wonderful fashions, and has her hair and makeup on... Looking more beautiful than ever before.
She is survived by her sons, Christopher Scott, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, James Scott, and his wife, Rachel, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, grandson, Carson Scott, mother, Julia Laelas, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, formerly of Nacomas, Florida, ex-husband, James Frances Scott, of Valparaiso, Indiana, and numerous other friends, which include the Willow Creek Board, and Neighbors, and her real estate colleagues, whom she also considered family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Anthony Laelas.

Memorial Mass will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 12, 2017 at Saint Bernard of Clairvaux Church.
