Madelyn C. Martindale, 78, of Tulsa, went to be with her Lord and Savior, on Sunday, November 26, 2017.  Visitation will be held from 3 – 5 PM, on Thursday, November 30, 2017, with funeral services at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 1, 2017 both at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel, with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery.

She was born in Henryetta, OK, on May 12, 1939, the daughter of James L. and Virgie L. (Ball) Ellis.  She attended Henryetta High School, and then attended beauty college in Decatur, IL.  She had worked as a bartender, having spent much of her career at the Elks Lodge, in Broken Arrow, OK, prior to her retirement. She enjoyed cooking, hosting parties and gatherings at her home, and spending time with her family.   Many will miss her amazing wit, and quirky sense of humor.

She is survived by her son, James M. Goodwin, of Tulsa, OK, daughter, Kim Sizemore, and her husband, Chris, of Tulsa, OK, grandchildren, Jeremy Sizemore, Justin Sizemore, Ashley Sizemore, all of Tulsa, OK, and Morgan Hourez, and her husband, Todd, of Broken Arrow, OK, great-grandchildren, Camden, and Merritt, sister, Marylyn Madden, of Tulsa, OK, and numerous other extended family members and friends, including her beloved pet dog, Sassy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and granddaughter, Sesalee Goodwin.
