Marcella Virginia Postoak, age 73, died Friday, January 7, 2011 in Tulsa, OK. She was born to parents Marcel J. and Cherie A. (Cochran) Darling on January 28, 1937, in Los Angeles, California.

Marcella was a beautician and operated on shop on 15th St. in Tulsa. She was a member of the Indian Tribal Club of Tulsa, Tulsa PowWow Club, Boston Ave. Methodist Church, Tulsa Indian Methodist Church and worked at Tulsa Community College. She was a seamstress and very social and compassionate woman.

Marcella will be missed by many family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson and is survived by her husband, Ed, children, Denise M. Postoak, Sherree R. Richey, David E. J. Postoak, Shelley D. Postoak, Shauna R. Youngblood, and DeShannon N. Postoak, siblings, Wilma V. Whitaker, Joseph E. Darling, and Nedra C. Darling, 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 9:00 until 8:00 p.m, Monday, January 10, 2011 and a Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m.,Tuesday, January 11, 2011, both at Fitzgerald Ivy Chapel. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Tulsa.
