Obituary

Margaret Ann Becker was born July 13, 1930 to C. Henry Busse and Carrie Catherine Conner Busse in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was the apple of her daddy's eye who loved to spoil her growing up.  She was the oldest of two daughters.  Her Lord took her suddenly into heaven May 18, 2017.  In a blink of an eye, we believe she was suddenly in heaven.

Born and raised in Tulsa, she met and married Thomas Byron Keim at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church on July 14th, 1951.  They bore six children, three of whom preceded her in death, Thomas Anthony, Georgiann Marie and Elizabeth Ann Keim.  She is survived by her daughter, Rita and her husband David Bacon of Sand Springs; two sons, Michael Keim of Tulsa and Thomas Keim of Oklahoma City, Ok.  She was blessed with three grandchildren, Kyle Yates of Norman, Ok.; Aethena and her husband Timothy Ward; Christopher Sumner and his wife Kimberly of Woodland Hills, Ca.  Her blessings extended to another generation of great-grandchildren: Savannah and Austin Fisher of Sand Springs, Braydon Ward of Sand Springs, and Arielle and Gabriella Sumner of Woodland Hills, Ca.  She was preceded in death by her husband Byron in 1975.

She was blessed with a second marriage to Jim Becker, which moved her to Oklahoma City in 1976. Her marriage to Jim brought two more sons, Steve and Robert Becker.  Through the years came more grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Jim also preceded her in death in 2011.

Margaret is also survived by one sister, Betty Oexmann and her husband Don, of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Margaret grew up in Tulsa graduating from Holy Family Cathedral High School. She was a wonderful homemaker and raised her children to love and serve as she did. She loved life, but her love of God and her faith as a Roman Catholic carried her through the loss of three children and two husbands.  She was very active in St. Andrews Roman Catholic Church in Oklahoma City, serving as a Eucharistic minister.  She returned to Tulsa in 2008 where she was back home again.  She was a mighty prayer warrior who prayed her rosary daily.

A Rosary will be held Monday, May 22nd, at 7:00 PM at Fitzgerald Ivy Chapel, 1402 South Boulder Avenue, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held Tuesday morning at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Cathedral, 8th and South Boulder Avenue, in Tulsa.
