Margaret Ann Lowry passed
on August 14, 2013 in Tulsa, OK.

Margaret was born in Tulsa at St.
John Hospital on July 22, 1939 to
Martha and Louis Lowry. She attended
Marquette High School.
Margaret was a graduate of
Creighton University. She spent
many years teaching in the Omaha
Public School System. Most of
those years were spent at Joslyn
Elementary School. Margaret's
greatest passion was teaching her
students. She made an indelible impression
on all that passed thru her classroom.
Margaret's other passions were her love of
animals and volunteering. Margaret made
sure those without a voice were always
heard.

Margaret was preceded in death
by: her parents; sisters, Mary Lee
Anderson and Patty Richey; and
brothers, Mike Lowry and Tom
Lowry. She is survived by: her
niece, Anna Lee and her husband,
Jeremy Carlisle; grandnephews,
Evan and Cort Carlisle; niece,
Jennifer Lowry; brother- in-law,
Jay Richey; sister-in-law, Shirley
Lowry of Tulsa; niece, Kelly
Lowry; grandniece, Jada Williams
and sister-in-law, Linda Lowry of
Dallas, TX; her niece, Leslie and
her husband, Dave Kasprzyk of Springfield,
IL.

The family is asking for donations to be
made to the Joslyn Student Activities Fund
in lieu of flowers.
