Dr. Margaret Frances (Doell) Budnik passed away peacefully on March 6, 2013. Peggy spent her last days surrounded by her loving family and her friends at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Peggy was born on September 2, 1948, in New York, New York. She attended Saint Michael's Academy before graduating in 1969 from the Nursing Degree Program at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. Peggy spent the next 44 years devoting herself to nursing, eventually receiving her Doctor of Management in Organizational Leadership. Peggy's work in the medical community was broad, extending from her early days in nursing care to her work as an administrator creating and implementing electronic medical records systems at various hospitals throughout the country.

Peggy is survived by her beloved children: Michael Budnik and wife, Angela W. of Woodstock, Illinois; Kerri Welch of Bixby, Oklahoma and James Budnik and wife, Jenny M. of Corvallis, Oregon. Peggy is also remembered lovingly by her sister, Patty Ingram of Sparta, New Jersey, and brother, Henry Doell of Langhorne, Pennsylvania. Her twelve nieces and nephews will carry with them wonderful memories of their beloved Aunt Peggy.

Peggy's greatest joys however were her eight grandchildren: Nicholas, Drew, Michael, Jack, Bianca, Brea, Michael Cage, and her newest little angel, Zoë! They knew Nana as a continuous source of love and support. Her wonderful smile and immeasurable joy at being their "Nana" was a constant in their lives. They will remember her with true love always!

Visitation 6-10 p.m. Sunday, March 10, 2013 with a Prayer service at 7 p.m. both at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel. Mass of Chrisitan Burial 1 p.m. Monday, March 11, 2013 at Saint Bernard of Clairvaux Church with interment in Calvary Cemetery.
