Marilyn H. Diamond (1934-2024) lived a long and blessed life and enjoyed 66 years of marriage to her beloved Louis Diamond (d. 2021). She inspired the love and devotion of her children and children-by-marriage William (Vicki), Deana (Seth), and Scott (Jessica), 12 grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
Marilyn graduated from the University of Denver with a B.A. in Elementary Education. Always willing to volunteer and serve, her contributions enhanced the institutions of the Tulsa Jewish community for over 50 years. She taught Hebrew for 25 years at Temple Israel and 15 years at Mizel Jewish Community Day School, where she inspired hundreds of students to learn and enjoy Jewish texts and traditions.
Among her many interests, Marilyn loved to swim, play tennis and bridge, garden, cook, sew and quilt. She was loved and respected by all who knew her for her kindness, humility, integrity, optimism, practicality, and love of learning.
