Obituary

Marilyn Sue Wright was born on September 13th, 1946 in Howell, Michigan to Russell Orlo Wright and Eva Elizabeth Dingman Wright. She passed away September 15th, 2022 in Jenks, Oklahoma.

Marilyn went to school in Fowlerville, Michigan. She was married to Jimmy Ray Reaves on April 20th, 1963 and had a son, Scott, and a daughter, Renee. The family relocated to New Edinburg, Arkansas, in 1969, where she lived and worked at her first banking job in Warren, Arkansas, until 1975.

Marilyn went on to live and work in Vicksburg, MS, Fort Smith, AR, and then Tulsa, OK, where she worked as a Branch Manager for Oklahoma Central Credit Union until her retirement.

Marilyn later found her special love Lucio M. Nieto and they were married on April 5th, 2014 in Tulsa. She also found great joy in her extended family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several really close friends. She enjoyed music, playing piano, singing at church, and attending family sporting events. She was an avid reader and a very talented quilt-maker.

Marilyn is survived by her siblings, Raymond Orville Wright, Claudia Jean Wright Drake, and Keith Ryan Wright, her son, Russell Scott Reaves, her daughter Susan Renee Hammond and her husband Jeff Hammond and a large extended family. Marilyn has two grandchildren, Dylan Hammond and Christopher Reaves and four great-grandchildren, Logan, Nicole, Kaylee and Audrey Reaves. Marilyn is loved and will be remembered by many friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Lucio Nieto, her parents, her siblings Darryl "Lance" Wright, Karen Elaine Wright Bloore, Robert "Robby" Alan Wright and her daughter-in-law, Jamie Pannell Reaves.
