Obituary
Martha Marie Buntt, age 86, passed away July 16, 2016, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on November 30, 1929 in Tulsa, OK, to George and Luella Robison, the 7th of their 11 children. In 1947 Martha married Jewell Junior Buntt and together they had four children: Linda Marie, Harold Allen, Richard Lee and Jane Marie.
Martha's strong and abiding love for life, children and family were steadfast through the years, and a tribute to her Robison heritage. She spent most of her days watching her boys play baseball and working hard to provide for her family. One of her greatest pleasures was cooking for her children, grandchildren and their friends every Sunday. She was very inclusive to all people and her doors were always open to anyone and everyone.
Hard work, grit and determination were in Martha's blood. She was known for never giving in and never giving up. She fought for her beliefs and wasn't afraid to share her opinions. She will be loved and missed by those close to her.
Martha was preceded in death by husband, Jewell Buntt; Children: Linda Marie Buntt, and Harold Allen Buntt; Siblings: Glen, Lonzo, Levi, Marion, Jim, Ray, Lavon, Mary. Great-grandson: Gavin Field Currie.
She is survived by her brother, Raymond Buntt; Children: Richard Buntt and wife Cheryl, Jane Hobson and husband Jack; Daughter-in-law Betty Currie and husband Mark Currie. Grandchildren: Melody Campbell and husband Russ, Richmark Buntt, Kimberly Buntt, Benchmark Currie and wife Kim, Kelli Champlin and husband Josh, Giselle "Sissy" Chebny and husband Vincent, Blythe "Mess" Winston and husband James. Great-grandchildren: Aaron Walker, Wesley and Ember Champlin; Kaden, Kiana, Karrah, Karson, and Kai Campbell; Saylor and Acey Currie; Coppelia, Cambrie, and Canaan Chebny; Lily Winston.
Viewing will be Tuesday, July 19th, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., and Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m., on Wednesday, July 20th, both at Fitzgerald Ivy Chapel, 14th and South Boulder Avenue in Tulsa. Interment will be at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville, OK.
