Martin Edward Wyatt, 77, retired attorney of Tulsa, OK went to be with Our Lord and Savior on November 27, 2010. Martin was born on June 4, 1933 in Tulsa and was a lifelong resident.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Helen Wyatt, and Mildred, his wife of fifty years. He is survived by daughters, Martha Chambless and Judith Wyatt, both of Tulsa, OK; Karen Hutchinson and husband Max of Owasso, OK; son, Chris Wyatt and wife, Judith of Corinth, TX; three grandchildren, Natasha and husband Brandon, Nathan and Will; two great-grandchildren, Peyton and Dylan. He is also survived by his sister Kathryn Ann Carpenter of Tulsa, OK.
Martin was a devoted husband, father and Poppa and his family meant everything to him. His guidance and love will be sadly missed by family and friends.
He graduated from Cascia Hall Preparatory School in 1951 and received his law degree from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 1958. He practiced law, assisted with his father's insurance company and had other jobs until semi-retiring. He was a Senior Member of the Oklahoma Bar Association and had a Lifetime Certificate of Senior Membership to the Tulsa County Bar Association.
He was a long time active and devout member of the Church of the Madalene where he took every opportunity to help. He was a reader, server, and happily assisted in any way needed.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Church of the Madalene or to Catholic Charities.
Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Wednesday at the Fitzgerald Ivy Chapel. A Rosary will be at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday and Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, both at the Church of the Madalene. He will be buried at Calvary Cemetery.
