Marvin Benjamin Hart died on Thursday, December 13, 2018, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Marvin was born June 1, 1935, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He lived in Oklahoma City, retiring from LSB Industries, until November 2016, when he moved to Zarrow Pointe in Tulsa.
Marvin received a bachelor's degree in business administration and economics from Wharton School of Business. He served in the United States Army Reserves where he obtained the rank of First Lieutenant. Shortly after his military service Marvin earned a commercial pilot's license.
Marvin was preceded in death by his parents Gertrude and Otto Hart and sister Sylvia Hart Golsen. Marvin is survived by his daughter Debbie Sharpe (Dan), son Randy Hart, sister Phyllis Hart Raskin, 4 grandchildren, 2 nieces and 4 nephews.
In lieu of flower donations may be made to Temple B'nai Israel in Oklahoma City or Zarrow Pointe in Tulsa.
A graveside service will take place 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Emanuel Hebrew Cemetery in Oklahoma City. Fitzgerald Ivy Chapel, 918-585-1151.
