Mary Cecilia "Maryce" Kinney, born December 20, 1924 in Tulsa to Walter and Mary Schott, died January 7, 2017 at her home of the past five years, Montereau, in Tulsa.

Maryce was raised in Tulsa and graduated high school from Marquette in 1942. She accepted an academic scholarship to the College of Saint Teresa in Winona, MN, and graduated with honors in 1946. Maryce spent her entire life devoted to her family and her absolute commitment to her Catholic faith. She was a Senior Sales Director with Mary Kay Cosmetics, beginning her career in 1969 and retiring in 2003.

She is preceded in death by: her loving husband of 50 years, Robert Sr.; sons, Bryan and Bobby Kinney; granddaughter, Bridgette Kinney; and son-in-law, Tom Gribben. She is survived by: children, Michael (Marion) Kinney, Maureen Gribben, both of Tulsa, Matt Kinney (Tabitha Gregory) of Valdez, AK, and Kevin (Diane) Kinney of The Woodlands, TX; daughter-in-law, Mary Kinney of Tulsa; 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

A Rosary will be held Thursday, January 12th, 7 PM, at Fitzgerald's Ivy Chapel, 14th and South Boulder Avenue, Tulsa. The Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, January 13th, 11 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church.In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to either, the St. Mary's Education Trust Fund, or to the Bishop Kelley Education Trust Fund, both of Tulsa.
