Obituary
Mary Joan Moss, age 83, died on September 25, 2010, in Claremore, OK. Mary was born in Riviera and West Palm Beach, Florida on January 7, 1927, to parents Robert B. and Jimmie Lee Walls Thompson.
She married Paul Bruce Moss and was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and volunteering with the Gilcrease Museum. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Jeffrey Bruce Moss, who died in 1985.
She is survived by her husband, Paul, of Tulsa; a brother, James Thompson, of Reno, NV; sister, Judith Pauline Loebel, of Seattle, WA; nephews, DeWayne Moss, of Mannford, OK; Dan Moss, of Owasso, OK; Mark Moss and Carey Moss, of Tulsa; and nieces, Brenda Davis and Karen Broomhaul.
Visitation will be 12 Noon until 5:00 p.m., on Tuesday, and Wednesday 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald Ivy Chapel, 1402 S. Boulder Ave., Tulsa. Her Funeral service will be Thursday, September 30, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Ivy Chapel. Interment will follow at Floral Haven Cemetery.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, you consider a donation in Mary's name to Stroke Research at Mayo Clinic, 200 First Street SW, Rochester, MN 55905.
