Mary Frances (Rush) Cole passed away May 26, 2018 surrounded by family and friends.  She was 83 years old.

Mary was born on February 26, 1935 to Thomas and Emma Rush and was the youngest of 11 children.  She attended St. Francis Grade School and graduated from Holy Family High School.  Mary retired from St Johns Medical Center where she worked in the GI Lab.  She taught ceramic classes at McClure Recreation Center for many years. Mary was active in Sts. Peter & Paul and St. Pius X parishes.  She was a member of the national TTT Society. Mary loved spending time with her family and enjoyed helping others.  She enjoyed traveling, playing the piano, sewing and baking; always having a craft lesson ready for her grandchildren.  "Mother Mary" or "Grandma Mary" will be fondly remembered by all that had come to know her and been a part of her wonderful adventurous life.

She is preceded in death by her parents; five brothers and three sisters.  Mary is survived by her five sons, Thomas Cole of St Louis, John Cole, Richard Cole and his wife Melissa, Joey Cole and his wife Angie and Edward Cole and his wife Amanda all of Tulsa; brother Don Rush and his wife Jackie of Bixby and sister Sr. Mary Daria Rush CDP of San Antonio, 13 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, from 5 – 7 p.m. followed by a rosary at 7 p.m. both at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel. The Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, 10 a.m. at Saint Pius X Catholic Church.
