On Tuesday, November 19, 2024, Mary Elizabeth passed away at the age of 9 in her mother's arms. She was born December 29, 2014 in Tulsa, OK. The lives she touched brought joy to everyone with her infectious smile and beauty of life. She was a true warrior! Her favorite part of the day was watching Barney and Friends, but when Mom and her nurses wanted to watch something other than Barney, she still smiled and enjoyed Strawberry Shortcake.

She is survived by her mother, Angie R. Teagle; grandmother, Ginette Wooden; uncle Vincent Riggs and his wife, Angela; and uncle Scott Wooden and his wife, Beth. Mary Elizabeth loved being the center of attention with her cousins, Madison and Peyton Riggs and John Rives, Benjamin and Catherine Wooden, when they visited here in Oklahoma.

Her mom would like to especially thank the three physicians, Drs. Brian G. Hall, April "Shea" Bowling and Joseph Walter, who shared their God-given gift with Mary Elizabeth for many years. Their love for special needs children was a true blessing for Mary Elizabeth. Also, her family would like to thank her specialists, Drs. Cherie Herren, Suneet Saghal, Jeff Waugh, Keith Coffman, Joseph Davey and Ryan Roberts, D.D.S.. This past year has been tough for Mary Elizabeth and her mom but their love for each other helped them through these difficult times. Angie would like to thank the St. Francis Children's Hospital PICU Hospitalists, OU Health physicians and Dr. Lee Droemer, along with their team of nurses and respiratory therapists who used their gifts to help us during this journey. Her family would also like to thank Shelby Healthcare and her long-term private duty nurse, Kara Holt for making Mary Elizabeth's home a comfortable and fun place for her.

Rosary will be Sunday, November 24, 7:00 p.m. at Mary, Queen of Peace Chapel at Christ the King Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be Monday, November 25, 10:00 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church.
