Mary Agnes Thiel passed away on December 3, 2020 in Tulsa at the age of 90. She was married 61 years to John Emery Thiel before he passed in 2018. She has 3 surviving children and 1 deceased along with 4 grandchildren. Mary was born in Okmulgee OK on January 20, 1930. She attended Saint Anthony's High School in Okmulgee and moved to Tulsa to earn her Registered Nurse Diploma from Saint Johns School of Nursing. Mary practiced nursing in Tulsa, Kansas City, and Okmulgee before her wedding. After marriage, she focused on her family who participated in the Immaculate Conception parish. She returned to nursing to work for the Tulsa Public Schools and Children's Medical Center until retirement. Later, she and John joined the Holy Family parish. Mary will truly be missed. Her burial was at Calvary Cemetery, situated near her many family members.
