Mary Anne (Wells) Egan Travers, 80, joined her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and many loved ones on June 9, 2010.

Mary Anne was born January 10, 1930 in Pomona, CA to Stephen Ward Wells and Gertrude M. (Griesemer) Wells. She was raised in Tulsa, OK and was a graduate of Marquette Catholic School. Mary Anne was a long time member of Christ the King Parish. Mary Anne loved dancing, the St. Louis Cardinals and the Dallas Cowboys. She always looked forward to her monthly ladies luncheons with her longtime lady friends.

She was preceded in death by David Michael Egan, husband of 21 years, John Robert Travers, husband of 23 years; Julie Meylink, stepdaughter; and a great grandson, Mark Hailey II.

Survived by children, Cathy Spears and husband Drew of Tulsa, Lynn Vockrodt and husband Brent of CA, David Egan and wife Kathi, of Oklahoma City, Denise Armiger and husband Bill, of Tulsa; Dana Hailey and husband Mark of Ca,stepdaughter Susan Beach and husband Don of Tulsa, a stepson John Robert Travers and wife Shelley, of Tulsa; brothers Stephen Wells and wife Linda of CA, and Larry Wells and wife Eileen of MN; and sister-in-law Shirley Egan of FL.

She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, her long time companion Jim Watkins, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation and viewing will be Sunday, June 13, 2010 from 1-6 p.m. at Fitzgerald Ivy Chapel, 1402 S. Boulder, Tulsa. A prayer service will be held Monday, June 14, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church, Tulsa. Funeral mass will be held Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family sugggests contributions be made to Marquette Endowment Fund, Sojourn Care or Clarehouse.
