Beloved son, brother and dear friend, Cliff Maxwell Cameron died June 5, 2011.
Max was born December 2, 1987 to David and Pam Cameron. Max was raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He attended Monte Cassino School and graduated from Bishop Kelley High School in 2006. He continued his education at The University of Oklahoma where he majored in Advertising and he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism in 2010. Max had just completed his first year of law school at The University of Tulsa.
While at Bishop Kelley, Max ran track and cross-country. Among his many honors, he was chosen as the 2006 Mr. Kelley by his senior classmates. While at O.U., Max was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha and served as both Rush Chairman and Social Chairman. Max participated in University Sing and Sooner Scandals. He also served on the OU Homecoming Executive Staff.
Max was a member of Saint Mary's Catholic Church. He volunteered with the Tuesday Tutor Program at Irving Middle School where he was a mentor to, what he called 'his kids'.
Max had a wonderful spirit. His ability to make each one of us feel special was a true gift. His smile, stunning and contagious, will be remembered and missed by all. Max enjoyed playing golf, especially with his brothers, running, cycling, dancing and spending time with his many friends and his very close family.
Max was preceded in death by his father David Cameron and his grandfather Glen Barb.
He is survived by his mother Pam Cameron and siblings Maggie Cameron Gabel and her husband Jonathan, brother Matthew Cameron and his wife Meg, and brother Jack Cameron along with his newborn niece, Cameron Gabel. Max also leaves grandparents Don and M.M. Cameron and Betty Barb, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins who, along with a multitude of friends, were blessed to be a part of his life.
A Celebration of Life for Max Cameron will be held Tuesday, June 7 at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, June 8 at 10:00AM. Both will be held at The Church of Saint Mary.
