Michael F. Brennan, 90, of Tulsa, died on Thursday, May 03, 2018.  A visitation will be held 3:00-5:00 PM Tuesday at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel.  A rosary will be held on Tuesday at 7:00 PM, and a Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday at 10:00 AM, both at Christ The King Catholic Church where he was a longtime member.

Michael was born on September 10, 1927, in Tulsa, Ok, the son of Michael and Lucille Brennan.  He grew up in the Tulsa area, and furthered his education at The University of Tulsa attaining a Master's Degree.  He proudly served in the United States Army, a veteran of WWII.  On January 20, 1951, he married Alice M. Hudson, who met as classmates in the 2nd grade.  They enjoyed 62 years of marriage, raising 6 children together.

Michael was formerly bank president at Brookside State Bank in Tulsa and the Bankers Bank in Oklahoma City.  He and Alice served as volunteers with various organizations helping others, including Meals on Wheels, a favorite project of his.

He is survived by his children, Michael Brennan, III, and his husband, Randy, of St. Petersburg, FL, Marguerite Claybaugh, and her husband, Earl, of Piedmont, OK, Bridget Palmer, and her husband, Michael, of Tulsa, OK, Shivaun Parrish, and her husband, Rick, of Ft. Smith, AR, Shawn Brennan, and his wife, Loralann, of Edmond, OK, and Timothy Brennan, and his wife, Jamie, of Atlanta, IL, 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and numerous other family members, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Alice, and sister, Gloria Newbern.

Memorial donations may be made in Michael's name to Christ The King, Education Endowment Trust Fund.
