Michael Terry Myers, age73, was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma and died in Tulsa, Oklahoma on May 12, 2017. He was predeceased by his father, Jonathan Abra¬ham Myers, of Sanborn, Indiana and his mother, Sara P. Myers, of Latvia, Russia.
He is survived by: his wife of 44 years, Andrea Apt Myers of Tulsa, Oklahoma; his daughter, Rabbi Deborah Kahn-Harris, and her hus¬band, Keith Kahn-Harris, of London, England; two grandchildren in England, Kobi and Ella; four grandchildren in Tulsa, Mairead, Bridie, Ruairi and Nuallain Cooley; and granddaughter, Robin Fairless Walloch, and her son, Zack, of Conway, Arkansas. He is also survived by: brother-in-law, Ira Apt, and his wife, Shelley, of Cushing, Oklahoma; their children, Ryan and his wife, Can¬dice, David, Emily and her husband, Ryan Owens; and Garrett; sister-in-law, Rabbi Debbye Zanerhaft of Sacramen¬to, California, and her son, Jaron.
Mike graduated from The University of Oklahoma in 1966. Mike returned to Tulsa after graduation and began his many years in the Real Estate Business, receiving his Forty Years Emeritus from the National Board of Real¬tors. He ended his real estate career working for Kaiser Francis Oil Company manag¬ing the company's real estate portfolio.
He spent many years on the board of The Center for Individuals with Physical Challenges. He was proudest of helping to build their new facility.
He served on the boards of the The Sherwin Miller Museum of Jewish Art, of Temple Israel, and of B'nai Emunah Synagogue.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Center for Individuals with Physical Chal¬lenges or The Sherwin Miller Museum of Jewish Art.
Graveside service will be held Tues¬day, at 11:00 a.m., in the new Temple Israel Section of Rose Hill Memorial Park Cemetery, in Tulsa.
