Obituary

Milo Reno was born in Ardmore, Oklahoma, January 6, 1943. He went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 3, 2016. He is survived by his wife, Marian, mother, Ellen; brother, Richard; daughters, Becky, Tracy, and Stephanie, three grandchildren, CJ, Makenzie, and Savannah, and many loved ones. His is preceded in death by his father Hoyt, his brothers Randy and Bruce, and his grandson Tommy.

Milo was a reflection of the God he served. This was evident by his generosity and love for people. He loved to give gifts to his girls. He often shared with family and friends, but his big heart reached far beyond his own family. If you've ever eaten out with Milo, you would see him pick up the check for the meals of police officers and service men. And he absolutely would not take no for an answer. He counted it a privilege to give.

Jesus was the center of Milo's life. He lived a life of faith and corresponding action. In the early 1980's, Milo responded to the call of God on his life and attended Rhema Bible Training Center with his wife Marian. Upon graduation he sought God's direction and was led by the words spoken to his heart by the Lord, "Help them." With that simple direction he began the food ministry, Loaves and Fishes, which continues today. Loaves and Fishes has provided assistance to thousands of families in its 33 years of service to the Lord. We know there is a great celebration taking place in heaven over the many lives that were saved through the ministry.

Milo was a man of compassion. His humor lifted many heavy hearts. He was a friend, a husband, a dad, and a pastor. Milo was a man of God.
