NANCY A. HAYES

Nancy, a long-time resident of Tulsa, passed away at her memory care residence in Illinois on December 13, 2015. Nancy was born in Tulsa on August 17, 1936. She attended St. Francis School, Marquette High School, The University of Tulsa and graduated from Benedictine Heights College.
After working for Seigfried Ins. for some years, she went on to the University of Minnesota to earn a PhD in clinical psychology. She served the Tulsa community for 38 years, first on the staff at Children's Medical Center, and then in private practice for the next 28 years.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, CJ and Lucille Hayes; brothers, Jim and Pat; and other family members, Mark, David and Rosie. She is survived by her life partner of 36 years, Linda LaDeur; as well as nephews, nieces, numerous friends, and best friends, Glenann Wilkerson and Margaret Moran, of Tulsa.
Nancy's memorial service will be 3:30 p.m., Saturday, January 9, at Fitzgerald Southwood Chapel. We will celebrate her appreciation of beauty, her dedication to compassion for others, her commitment as a peacemaker, and her huge capacity for showing others her warmth and love. Burial is private.
