Nathan (Nate) Felix Cox, age 50 died on February 23, 2024, in Tulsa, OK, after a short battle with gallbladder cancer.
Nathan was born on January 5, 1974, in Wheaton, IL, to Alfred Taylor Cox and Jerilyn Wane Cox. He was homeschooled by his mother and graduated in 1991. He furthered his education by attending Rhema Bible College and then obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Oklahoma Wesleyan University. On November 1, 2002, he married Joleen and they made their home in Broken Arrow, OK.
Nate was passionate about teaching children about Jesus. He volunteered and shepherded the kids of Church on the Move for 30 years. He was an incredibly deep thinker and enjoyed having theological conversations. His family and friends will always remember his compassionate nature, joyful spirit, and positive outlook on life.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Joleen (Keller) Cox, and their children Ethan and Evangeline; his father Alfred Cox; his brother Timothy Cox; his brother David Cox and his wife Shelly Cox and their son Israel (Izzy) Cox; and a host of friends to mourn him.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Jerilyn Cox.
