Nathan was born on September 15, 1971, in Santa Clara, California, the son of Emilie and James Waddell. Nathan grew up in the Portland, Oregon area. Nathan proudly served his country in the United States Army. He had a great sense of pride from having been a member of the Old Guard. Nathan was a dedicated family man with an incredible work ethic.
