Nelita Bruno, 83, of Tulsa, passed from this life on Wednesday, November 14, 2018.  Visitation will be from 3:00 – 7:00 PM on Monday, November 19th, and a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 PM, on Tuesday, November 20th, at Holy Family Cathedral, in Tulsa, OK.  A committal service will follow the Mass at 3:00 PM, at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, in Broken Arrow.

Nelita was born on August 22, 1935, in Conroe, Texas, the daughter of Charles and Mary (Stovall) Price, and later moved to the Tulsa area, where she graduated in the early 1950's from Will Rogers High School.  On June 20, 1953, she married the love of her life, Leonard "Sonny" Bruno, and they shared 57 wonderful years together, until his death in August of 2011.

She was active in the Women's Club at Holy Family Cathedral, and volunteered at Meals on Wheels.  She enjoyed crocheting, cuddling with her cats, and listening to music, especially Johnny Mathis.

She is survived by her daughter, Angie Bruno, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, son, Gary Bruno, and his wife, Robin, of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, four grandchildren, Mandy Clifton, Coby Bruno, Chris Thornton, and Travis Thornton, two great-grandchildren, Dalton Clifton, and Caden Bruno, and one great-great-granddaughter, Sophia Thornton, sister, Mary Alice Webb, sister-in-law, Jane Price, beloved pet cats, and companions, Blue and Marty, and numerous other extended family members, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother, Charles Price.
