Norma Jean "Corke" Mahoney's Obituary
Our beloved wife, mother and grandmother Norma Jean "Corke" Mahoney passed away on August 2, 2014.
Born on June 14, 1928 in Oklahoma City, Corke attended Monte Cassino in Tulsa and OKC University. After marrying in 1946, she became a devoted homemaker to her husband Bill and two children. Corke took time for her garden, painting and writing but also loved a spirited debate about any number of topics. Her later years she found comfort in the Catholic Church and the love within it. She is survived by her husband Bill, her son Will and his wife Katherine Battenberg and her daughter Carol Pinion and her husband Mike. Also surviving are her four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and many close friends.
A mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's, 1347 E. 49th Place, in Tulsa on Monday, August 11, 2014, at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to Clarehouse, 7617 S. Mingo Road, Tulsa, OK 74133.
