Norman Allbritton, 84, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2014 in Tulsa, OK. He was born July 18, 1929 in Denver Colorado to Charles James Allbritton and Floy Angie Thornton. Norman served in the US Army during the Korean War and was retired from Oklahoma Natural Gas Company. He was a member of Saint Benedict's Catholic Church. He was a political activist and loved his gardening and feeding the birds. Norman was preceded in death by; his parents; his wife of over 30 years, Mary Allbritton and grandson Donnie Allbritton. He is survived by; sons, David Allbritton (Norma) and their children, Anthony Allbritton, Angela Schexnayder (Stephen) and their three children, Jason, Ali and Spencer and Dan Allbritton (Carolyn), their daughters Brandy Schotta (Mike) and their son Remington and Joy Surratt and her two children, Colby and Jordan; numerous grandchildren, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at the Chapel at Calvary Cemetery, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
