Obituary

Norman Eugene Levick, 89, of Tulsa, Oklahoma died on July 6th, 2018.

Norman was born November 12, 1928 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Dr. Julius and Dena Levick. He was married for 55 years to the love of his life, Bootsie Levick. Norman is a graduate from The University of Houston and also attended the University of Oklahoma, where he was a member of Pi Lambda Phi Fraternity. He was in the United States Army from 1952 to 1954. Norman was a manager of Levine's Department Store in Amarillo, Texas. Norman and Bootsie were members of Temple B'nai Israel for over fifty years.

Norman was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.

He is survived by his children: Michael Levick (Candi), Jolene Sanditen and Larry Levick (Susan). Also surviving are grandchildren: Jamee Heidmann (Sean), Jeremy Levick (Salina), Brad Sanditen (Adria), Leslie Sanditen (Frank Zigmond), Nathan Levick, Jason Levick and Zachary Levick. In addition, he is survived by great-grandchildren: Max and Maggie Heidmann, Aria Levick, Will, Sam and Phifer Sanditen, and Scott Zigmond, as well as two sisters, Janice Anchell and Diana Malat.

Norman will be remembered for his kind disposition and sense of humor. He loved to play golf, dominoes and poker.

Burial will take place Tuesday, July 10th at 3:00 at Llano Cemetery in Amarillo, Texas. A memorial service will be held in Tulsa, Oklahoma at Zarrow Pointe, Burnstein Auditorium at 4:00 on Thursday, July 12th. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Zarrow Pointe Employee Fund or Congregation B'nai Emunah, both in Tulsa, Oklahoma or any charity of your choice.
