Pat Skeehan King passed away on May 11, 2014, surrounded by family and yellow roses to celebrate her on Mother's Day.

Pat was born in Forest Hills, New York on November 13, 1924 to Eva Mary Keally and Edward Michael Skeehan. Her father was Vice President and Treasurer of Barnsdall Oil Co. Pat moved to Tulsa in 1926; attended Monte Cassino in kindergarten and first grade, then moved to Beverly Hills, California and attended Beverly Hills Catholic School and Beverly Hills High School until her junior year. She returned to Tulsa and graduated from Monte Cassino in 1942. Pat went to the University of Tulsa and was President of Kappa Delta sorority. She was Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities, graduating in 1946.

Pat married Francis S. King, Jr. in 1946 and raised 12 loving children. She is survived by eleven children: Francis III (Mary Ann), Stephen (Nancy), Leslie Stough (Craig), Shelley Banks (Bill), Phillip (Cheryl), Lorrie Frederick, Terry Clark (Randy), John, Kimberly (Art), Matthew (Amy), and Edward. Also, 26 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and brother, Rev. William K. Skeehan of Tulsa.

Pat worked at Neighbor for Neighbor for 14 years and Paper Chase for 8 years.

She is preceded in death by her husband Francis S. King, Jr., son William Anthony (Tony), brothers Edward Michael Jr., killed in WWII, John Charles Skeehan formerly of Los Angeles, California, and sister, Mary Margaret Minter formerly of Annapolis, Maryland.
Pat will always be remembered for her infectious laugh, fun, caring, playful spirit and her gracious way of making everyone feel at home.

Funeral services will be 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 15. The Memorial is Wednesday evening, May 14 at 7:00 p.m., both at Christ the King Church.
