Patricia Anne Camblin Cordell, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and devoted friend passed away August 3, 2012 at age 89. She was born in Tulsa, OK to Laurence and Ethel Camblin on November 11, 1922.

After graduating from Tulsa Central High School, attending the University of Tulsa and the University of Arkansas, she married her high school sweetheart, John Cordell. In 1948 they moved to Pryor, OK where they raised their children and made their home for many years. Patricia spent the past seven years surrounded by friends at the Tulsa Jewish Retirement Center.

She enjoyed a long and fruitful career in the arts, specializing in watercolor. She was an inspiration to her fellow artists.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Bud; her sister, Bethel; her husband, John and her son, Stephen. Patricia is survived by her children, Dr. John Cordell of Berkeley, CA, Kathleen Meredith (Ken) of Tulsa, OK, Clark Cordell of Pryor, OK; grandchildren, Debbie, Kara, Ryan, and Christopher; great-grandchildren, Cody, Jordan, Doltan, and Mae; brother and sister in-law, David and Sally Cordell and sister in-law, Frances Camblin.

Funeral services will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery chapel on Wednesday, August 8th at 10 am. Memorial contributions may be made to Miller Hospice, 2025 E 71st St, Tulsa, OK 74136.
