Obituary

Pat Briggs of Tulsa, Ok went to Our Lord on September 7, 2023. Her illness was due to a sudden stroke and she never recovered.

She was born February 6, 1932 in Pontiac, Michigan. Her parents were Roy and Alma Mayse, a life of 91 years.

She married Gerald P. Biggs in Vincennes, IN and had a wonderful married life of 71 years. Pat accompanied Jerry through his four years of military service and college and 35 years in the law firm. Pat worked for an orthodontist and a law firm while in Chicago for over 20 years. Pat and Jerry came to Tulsa in 1985 where Pat then worked for St. Francis Hospital until retirement. She loved to play cards and golf.

Pat had five brothers and one sister. Brothers, Hershal Mayse,
Homer Mayse, Roy Mayse, Richard Mayse, and Frank Mayse, and sister Marie Lee.
All preceded Pat in death except for Frank who lives in Seattle, Washington.

Pat and Jerry had three children. Their son, Timothy, was a Naval Academy graduate and spent 20 years in the Marines, and later worked in D.C as a computer company executive. Tim died from an auto accident at the age of 61 years. Pat is survived by her daughter Linda, a nurse and Thomas, a maintenance supervisor. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Special thanks to the Doctors and staff at St. Francis Hospital and the Claire House. We are grateful for their kindness and compassion.
