Obituary

Patsy Chase was on this earth for 62 years and 2 days. Patsy was born in Tulsa on February 10, 1952 and passed away on February 12, 2014. Her parents were Hobart Forrest Morgan and Lena Pauline Morgan (Morrison) both of whom preceded her in death. She had 3 siblings Bekki Bridgeman, Nancy Patton and a brother Mike Morgan. Mike preceded Patsy in death.

Patsy and Alan Chase, her husband of 28 years, rekindled an earlier teenage romance and were married on August 2nd, 1986. Although she hated to do it, she quit her job with Cities Service and with son, Dusty Dean, and step-son, Brandon Chase, followed her husband to the oil fields of West Texas. She dreaded leaving her family and friends but she was quickly surrounded by new lifelong friends. Even though she had a full workload with a new husband and 2 young boys she soon went back to work, idleness was not in her nature. This was the beginning of many more relocations, with new friends and new jobs for the next 25 years. She never complained, she made the most of the situation, irritated that expatriate wives were not allowed to work in Kuwait she took up golf and won the big annual Calcutta tournament.

Patsy was a unique person. She had a strong work ethic and was perplexed if others did not share this view. She also enjoyed life to the fullest. She was up for most everything, from riding a camel to top of Mount Sinai, to casually floating down the Illinois river or doting on her only grandchild Canyon Dean. She was a straight shooter, you always knew where you stood with her, but you also knew she stood side by side with you. Patsy will be dearly missed by all the people touched by her.

Patsy is survived by her husband, two sons, grandson, her sisters, brother-in-laws Jim Patton and Gerald Bridgeman and eight nephews and nieces and their children.
