Patricia Ann Connery passed away November 1, 2022. She was surrounded by family as she took her final breath. She was born in 1934 in Houston Texas. She moved to Illinois as a young child. Her grandfather owned a movie theater, and she developed a love of movies from an early age. Her family moved to San Diego when Pat was 13. She graduated from La Jolla High School. She then earned her bachelor's degree from San Diego State University where she was President of her sorority Alpha Chi Omega. She met the love of her life at a Navy Officer's Dance. They met on the dance floor, and he literally swept her off her feet. She married Tom Connery in June 1955. They welcomed the first of 5 children 9 months and 4 days later. They began their married life in Iowa but soon returned to Tom's home state of Oklahoma. She lived in Tulsa the rest of her life. Pat worked as the bookkeeper for Care Nursing Homes for more than 20 years. She continued doing the bookkeeping for Fountain View Manor until just a few months ago. She was an avid golfer for most of her life and loved playing with the ladies groups at LaFortune and Paige Belcher. She played bridge right up until the end, with her children using an online app. She looked forward every day to the 2:00 bridge game. Pat was active in her church and volunteered for Meals on Wheels of Tulsa for more than 40 years. She also served in Assistance League of Tulsa and Catholic Charities. She loved to laugh and tell a joke. She loved sweet potato fries and Dove dark chocolate. She was stubborn and demanding, but she had a heart of gold. She was sharp and witty and didn't know a stranger. She loved deeply and was the glue that held our family together. She will be forever in our hearts, and she will be deeply missed. Pat was proceeded in death by her parents Valera and Franklin Ashcraft, her brother Frank Hall Ashcraft, and her husband Thomas Connery. She is survived by her children: Frank Connery, Malia Litman, Steve Connery, Phil Connery, and Cindy Rolen. She is survived by her 16 grandchildren: Scott Connery, Brian Connery, Zach Litman, Anna Litman, Katie Litman, Sara Connery, Andrew Connery, Matt Connery, Hannah Connery, Caitlin Sanford, Paige Connery, Palmer Connery, Rebecca Connery, Emily Rolen, Connor Rolen and Grace Rolen. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren: Penny Connery, Parker Connery, Merritt Connery, Lane Connery, and one-week old Joshua Correa. She made it a goal to hand knit baby blankets for each of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She completed that goal just two weeks ago when she finished the last one for baby Joshua.
