Patsy Lou George passed away
at the age of 86, Thursday, April 25,2013, at her home in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born September
26, 1927 to Winfred Titus Boyce
and Lula May King in Buckcreek,
Oklahoma. Pat's mother died in
1931 and she was very proud to be
a coal miner's daughter raised by
her father and two older brothers,
Vernon and Gilbert Boyce. At the
young age of seventeen, she married
Earl Wilson George on July 1, 1944, in Bokoshe, Oklahoma. Soon after marriage, Earl and Pat moved to west Tulsa to begin their new lives. They worked at various jobs until Earl landed a job at Sunray
Refinery and Pat took a position at Bama Pie. She was the Production supervisor assisting
the Marshal family to produce Mc-
Donald turnovers before her retirement in the late 1980s. Pat loved family, music, holidays,
cooking, dancing, and playing the slot machines. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Alan Jackson's biggest fan, and she adored her three grandchildren, Christopher
Alan Copp, Katie Patrice Copp
and Stephanie Dawn George and
great-grandchild, Dylan Annex.
She leaves behind daughter, Delores
Copp and her husband, Tim;her son, Don George and his wife,Joanie; her nephew, Jodie Harrison and his wife, Ruth; her grandchildren
and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her two brothers; husband; and
son, Eddie Earl. She was a loving daughter,wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother,
aunt, and friend. She will be deeply missed. Funeral service will be held Monday,April 29 at Fitzgerald's Southwood Colonial Chapel. Visitation will take place
