PATTY LOU (TOWERY) PATTERSON
1949-2015
Patty was born on January 31, 1949 in Wetumka, OK. She was the 5th of six children born to loving parents Tom and Ruby Towery. She went to her heavenly home on May 12, 2015.
From her early life of meager beginnings she grew and prospered achieving many successes. Her passions were writing, her family, and especially her grandchildren.
Patty retired after 20 plus years from the University of Oklahoma in 2009, working at both the OU College of Medicine in Oklahoma City and finally OU-Tulsa Shusterman Center.
She is preceded in death by her father Thomas Albert Towery, mother Ruby Watts Towery, and sister June Seawright.
She is survived by her husband Dan, son Steven of Allen, TX, daughter Lori Cramer(Patterson) of Carlsbad, CA and three grandchildren: Avery Cramer, Jacob Patterson, and Emma Patterson.
She is also survived by brother Bob Towery of Holdenville, OK, brother Ken Towery of Mustang, OK, sister Phyllis Osbourn of Holdenville, OK, and sister Jan Preston of Ardmore, OK.
A memorial Service will be held on Friday May 15, at 11:00 am at the Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel in Tulsa. Interment will be at the Wetumka cemetery in Wetumka, OK.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Clarehouse in Tulsa, OK would be greatly appreciated.
