Obituary

Paul Sidney Anthamatten, age 91, formerly of Silsbee, Texas passed away on Wednesday morning, September 19, 2012 in a Pasadena, Texas.
The second youngest of 10 children, Paul was born on September 18, 1921, to Adolph and Adeline Anthamatten in Tulsa, Oklahoma; graduating from Holy Family High School in 1940.
He enlisted in the in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II and served in the China, Burma and India Theatre from October 1942 to February 1946. He was married to the love of his life, Gladys Mae Warren, on November 1, 1947 in Tulsa, Oklahoma; cherishing their marriage for 52 years until her passing. Paul worked as an automotive parts manager until his retirement in 1994.
A loving father and devoted husband, Paul is survived by three sons: Paul D. Anthamatten, Weatherford, Texas, Jack L. Anthamatten, Seabrook, Texas, and Fred L. Anthamatten, Dickinson, Texas. He has five grandsons: Peter, Mitch, Greg, Eric and Dustin, and five great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00pm Sunday, September 23, 2012 followed by a Rosary at 6:00pm both at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am on Monday, September 24, 2012 at Calvary Cemetery Chapel, 9101 South Harvard Avenue Tulsa, OK, with burial immediately after the services.
