Paul A. Brockwell III passed away peacefully at his home on October 3rd, 2020, at the age of 74.
He was born February 11, 1946 to Paul and Betty Lou Page Brockwell. He was the oldest of two siblings.
Paul, a Tulsa native, graduated from Edison High School. He attended the University of Oklahoma , where he received his degree in business administration and was a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity. Upon graduation, Paul went to work for Arthur Young and became a certified public accountant. In 1979, he joined the Jimmie Jones Company, became CFO and later, partner. He retired from Jimmie Jones in 1994.
Paul loved rock and roll, San Francisco, reading, and whatever dog was by his side. He would say his favorite role in life was being a dad and later a grandpa. Paul was known by many for being eccentric, smart, amazing with numbers, and kind; but his most endearing quality was his generosity. Paul was generous with his time, his money, and his heart. Anyone who knew him would have a personal story about his generosity and it would be a story that Paul himself had never shared. His was a quiet generosity and the kind that made a lasting impact on all that he touched.
He is survived by: his daughter Page and her husband John Gavino; his two grandchildren, Sophia and John Jr.; and his sister Teresa and her husband Andy Bassel.
A rosary service is set for 7:00 pm Thursday and Mass is scheduled for 11:00 am Friday, both at Parish of Christ the King, in Tulsa.
Memorials may be made to Neighbor for Neighbor.
