Paul Michael Donatucci

Paul passed away Sunday, April 15, 2012, in Tulsa, after a battle with cancer, which he gave his all to fight. A Rosary and viewing for family and friends will be held from 12 noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday at the Southwood Colonial Chapel located at the Fitzgerald Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass for Paul Michael Donatucci, 45, Tulsa, will be at 7 p.m. Saturday at St. Pius X with Father Matt Gerlach officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Tulsa, under direction of Fitzgerald Funeral Home.

Paul was born March 24, 1967, in Ft. Knox, KY to Francis J. ("Frank") and Texie Lee (Higdon) Donatucci. He moved with his parents and older brother, Franc, to Lawton, OK and then to Germany, due to his father's military career. When Paul was ten years old, they returned to Lawton, Oklahoma where they resided the remainder of Paul's school years. Paul attended Whittier Elementary, Park Lane Elementary and MacArthur Junior High School before graduating from MacArthur High School in 1985. He attended Cameron University. Paul worked for Herbs Grocery prior to relocating to Norman, Oklahoma, where he worked at Brother's until 1994.

On June 15, 1996, he married the love of his life, Christine Ann Erbrick, of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Together they ran a family owned business known as Dining In, in Norman. In September 1997, they relocated to Tulsa where Paul was employed by several companies over the years. Paul began working for Borden Dairy in 1999 as a milk pasteurizer and remained an employee of Borden until he passed away. Paul was an active member of St. Pius X Catholic Church, where his wife Crissy teaches.

He is survived by his wife Crissy, two sons, Paul Michael Donatucci, II ("PJ") 15 years of age, and John Vincent Donatucci ("Jack") 12 years of age, all of Tulsa, Oklahoma; his mother, Texie Lee Donatucci, of Tulsa, Oklahoma (formerly of Lawton, Oklahoma), brother Franc John Donatucci, niece Tyler Donatucci of Harrah, Oklahoma and nephew Dominic Donatucci of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; father and mother-in-law, Jack and Betty Erbrick, sister-in-law Noreen and husband Shawn McCorkle, and sister-in-law Eileen and husband Fred Ames, and nieces Ashlyn, Courtney, Natalie, Megan, Sophie, Leah, all of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Aunt Dorothy and her husband Vic Federici, Aunt Camille Antolik, and cousins Debbie Pluta, Nancy D'Aquanno, Amy Blacker and Angela Hancock of New Jersey. Paul is also survived by a multitude of close friends from Lawton, Norman, and Tulsa; all of whom will miss him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Frank, in 2009; his maternal grandparents Reece "Tex" Higdon and Mary Lee Higdon and his paternal grandparents Vincent C. Donatucci and Edith Donatucci.
