Pauline Rachelle (Atkins) Tsosie began her journey on November 16, 2020. She was raised in Tulsa and then graduated from Tulsa Union High School in 1980, where she was active in softball and basketball. Pauline still played softball into her 30's and brought her kids up in the softball fields. She loved to powwow and traveled to many different states. She was always on the go and there was never a time she was home on the weekends. As she became a grandma, it was still the same; you could always find her at the ballfields with one of her grandkids and then rushing to get to a powwow after the games.
Pauline is preceded in death by: her father Vernon Doyle Atkins, Sr., mother Billie Maxine Shawnee-Atkins, brother Vernon Doyle Jr., sister Lena Scott, son Christopher Jon Tsosie, and grandson Brayson Jaymz Tsosie-Lomakema.
She leaves behind her husband of 39 years, Larry Tsosie; her children, Jessica Tsosie of Claremore, Jennifer Tsosie of Chelsea, William Tsosie of Claremore and Vernon Tsosie of Claremore; her pride and joy, her grandkids, Nazhoni Tsosie-Hamilton, Minnie Tsosie-Hamilton, Lena Tsosie, Ashkii Tsosie, and Christopher Jean Tsosie.
Funeral Services will be 9:00 am, Thursday, November 19, 2020, at the Quapaw Tribal Longhouse. Burial will be in the Shapp Family Cemetery in Quapaw.
