Peggy Ruth Scheiper
Born October 15, 1928 to Gleason and Essie Ream in Clinton, Oklahoma.
She attended Texas Tech University and transferred to Oklahoma A&M after her engagement to Frank Joseph Scheiper Jr. They were married in Muskogee, Oklahoma, on Feb. 7, 1948. Work with Amoco Production Company led them to enjoy traveling and seeing the world together as well as enjoying family life in both Connecticut and Illinois.
Mrs. Scheiper was a church member at First United Methodist of Tulsa. She enjoyed Bridge Club and socializing with her many friends. She is the beloved mother of four grateful sons, and treasured grandmother to eleven grandchildren. Her loving devotion and prayers blessed her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Her time, never limited, was bestowed upon each.
Her husband, Frank Joseph Scheiper Jr. and their son, Allan Joseph, preceded her in death.
She is survived by sons: Frank Stephen Scheiper of Longmeadow, Massachusetts, and his wife, Carol; Lance Paul Scheiper of Justice, Illinois, and his wife, Corrine; James Joseph Scheiper of Tulsa, and his wife, Amy; Anthony Lee Scheiper of Tulsa, and his wife, Julie; grandchildren, Kyle Joseph, Lauren May Baron, Nicholas Craig, Joseph Leroy, William Joseph, David Christopher, Jonathan Andrew, Jenifer Lynn Cogburn, and Justine Frances Cummisky, and great-grandchildren Kayton Maddox and Blake Anthony.
The Reverend James Miller will officiate the Memorial Service 2:30 pm on Thursday, December 3 at First Presbyterian Church of Tulsa. Flowers may be sent to the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Arthritis Foundation.
