Obituary

Peter Max Prulhiere, 31 years, passed away suddenly Saturday, October 19, 2019. Peter was born in Abilene, Texas on April 15, 1988 to Rob and Penny Prulhiere. Peter grew up first in Abilene, and then on a small ranch in Buffalo Gap, Texas where he first learned about farming and raising animals. He attended Abilene Community Church where his granddad was the pastor, and Christian Academy of Abilene where both his parents worked. After his family moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, he graduated from Victory Christian School in 2007 and attended Oral Roberts University. Peter worked for his family's business, Mountain Home Company, for 9 years. In 2016, he and his partners, Nate Beaulac and Jason Ketchum, started Prairie Creek Farms in Kellyville, Oklahoma.

Peter was a gift from God to his parents who prayed for a miracle. He was a good son, full of joy, and funny from the minute he could talk. He was dedicated to his family and friends and loved by so many. He was a leader and a gentle protector to his little sister, Sarah (Petal) Prulhiere. Peter was a big man with an even bigger heart. He was strong in body, thought and purpose. He was a Christian who walked out his faith without hesitation, and might even argue about it if he was challenged. Peter was the rock of our heartbroken family. He will be missed more than we can say, but we put all our hope in our Heavenly Father and His saving grace, and we know we will see him again.

Peter was preceded in death by his fraternal grandparents Bob and Agnes Prulhiere, his maternal grandparents, Max and Jeanie Tipton, an aunt, Kathy Drummond, an uncle, Dean Borden, and an uncle, Mike Turnbull.

Peter is survived by his parents Rob and Penny Prulhiere of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, his sister, Sarah Prulhiere of Jenks, Oklahoma, and precious friends, aunts, uncles and cousins.

We have faith and so we speak, we do this because we know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus will also raise us with Jesus and he will bring us into his presence along with you. 2 Corinthians 4:13-14

Visitation, 10:00-11:00 a.m. Friday followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. both at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel, 918-291-3500.
