Obituary

Philip "Ross" Renberg, 38, passed away on November 21, 2025, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born on April 13, 1987, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Ross was the beloved son of Gregory and Janet Renberg.

Ross was known for his enormous heart and instinctive desire to care for others. His life was defined by resilience, strength, and a commitment to lifting people up. For nearly a decade, he built a meaningful career in personal training, a role in which he found deep purpose. He celebrated every milestone, big or small, with genuine joy and took pride in helping others achieve their goals. Ross was also a committed practitioner of jiu-jitsu, earning his black belt and sharing his skill and guidance with fellow students. He loved the outdoors and took great pride in being a devoted dog dad.

Above all, Ross's love for his family and friends was unwavering and deeply felt. He could make anyone laugh with his sarcastic humor, and he had a rare gift for making others feel truly seen and supported.

Ross is survived by his mother, Janet Renberg; his brother, Geoff Renberg; his sister, Shelby Renberg; and his former fiance and best friend, Katie Archuleta; along with many cherished friends and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his father, Gregory Renberg; his grandparents, Kenneth and Lillian Renberg; his grandparents, Shirley and James Bass; and his sister-in-law, Samantha Crosson.

A service to honor Ross's life will be held at Fitzgerald Ivy Funeral Home in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on Friday, December 19, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. Arrangements for an additional service in Salt Lake City, Utah, will be announced when finalized.
