Phillip Ora Dale passed away the morning of February 8th at 64 years of age.

Phillip was a lifelong resident of Tulsa, born at Saint John Hospital September 26, 1959, to Charles and Alice Dale. Phillip grew up with his sister Leigh Ann in the Gilcrease Hills area. Phillip attended Immaculate Conception, Shady Grove Elementary, Bishop Kelly High School, St Gregory's Jr. College and graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelors of Science in Geology December of 1982.

Phillip married long time girlfriend Jane Goetz in 1986, and the couple moved to West Tulsa. He and Jane began a family in the parish of St. Catherine of Alexandria Church. Phillip became a pillar of the community through many years of stewardship as a lector, frequent volunteer, school bus driver and first Grand Knight of the founding chapter of Knights of Columbus at St. Catherine's Church.

Phillip was also proud of his involvement and impact on the youth of the community through the Boy Scouts of America. In over 16 years of membership, Phillip served as Cub Scout Master, Scout Master, committee member, rifle instructor and helped both of his sons attain the rank of Eagle Scout. Phillip's greatest joy in life was spending time with those he loved. Whether it was tending the garden with his grandchildren or making wine with friends he cherished moments spent together.

Phillip is survived by his loving wife Jane, and their two sons Aaron and John Dale. Aaron lives in Justin Texas with his wife Katherine and sons George, Arthur and Theodore. John lives in Oklahoma City with his wife Samantha and their daughter Laken. Also surviving Phillip are his sister Leigh Ann Underhill, nieces Stephanie and Janette, and their children.

Rosary will be said Monday, February 12th, 7pm and Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, February 13th, 10am, both at St. Catherine of Alexandria Church, 4532 S. 25th W. Ave, Tulsa, OK 74107.
