Randolph Bonds Collinson left this earthly realm on December 17, 2015. He was born in
Bartlesville, OK on October 11, 1931. His parents were the beautiful and adventurous Charlotte
Bonds Collinson and the faithful and loving Harold E. Collinson. He was big brother to shy and
gifted Dale Collinson. Charlie, Pop and Dale are rejoicing in heaven with Ranny today. He was
loving father to Julie and Ann, Grandpa to Aaron, Alex and Grace. He was an ordained Pastor
in the Disciples of Christ and served many churches over a long and fruitful career. After his
retirement from the pulpit he ministered to many children by driving a school bus for Union
School District and ministered to many suffering patients and families by serving as a volunteer
at Cancer Treatment Centers in Tulsa.
Randy was a champion of all who were in need of lifting up. He possessed a gift for making
whoever he was with feel like they were the most important person in the world at that moment.
This gift persisted throughout his life even after his dementia became severe. It is what those
who knew him will miss the most. We mourn our loss, but are joyful at his reunion in Heaven
with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and with his family and friends who went before him. Funeral service 9:00 a.m. Monday, December 21, 2015 at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel followed by interment at Fort Gibson National Cemetery.
