Ray Eugene Farrell was born in Joplin, Missouri on July 28, 1925, to parents Carson Taylor Farrell and Eva (Klopp) Farrell. The family moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1928, but returned to the family farm in Missouri for a short time during the depths of the Great Depression. Ray attended school in Tulsa; graduating from Central High School and attending Oklahoma A&M, where he studied engineering. In 1957, Ray married Ruth Maxine Linihan. They had a long and happy marriage of 59 years. Ruth passed away in December, 2016. Ray worked for McDonnell Douglas, North American Rockwell and other Tulsa firms. He retired after a long career, including work as an independent consultant. Ray is survived by his three sons, Steve, Dan and Norman and his beloved niece, Kathleen Ziegenhine. Committal Service: 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.
