Richard O. "Dick" Dickson, passed away Friday, July 19, 2013 in Lynn Haven, FL. He was born September 13, 1930 in Pawhuska, OK to William Alex Dickson and Eunice Irene Dickson. Dick graduated from Pawhuska High School and attended OSU where he was a member of the OSU basketball team under Coach Henry Iba. He was also a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity. This is where he met "the love of his life", Jane Fletcher. Dick and Jane married and moved to Brookville, Kansas where he ran cattle for Fletcher Cattle Co. They next moved to Sapulpa, OK where he began his banking career with American National Bank. He retired in the Tulsa community where he was an active member of the Church of the Resurrection. He was preceded in death by; his wife, Jane Dickson; parents, William Alex Dickson and Eunice Irene Dickson; grandmother, Laura L. Williams; son-in-law, Will Carlson; brother-in-laws, Tom Ritchie and Robert Fletcher; and sister-in-law, Joan Marie Fletcher. He is survived by; sons, Rick Dickson (Brenda), New Orleans, LA and David Dickson (Patrick), San Francisco, CA; daughters, Deborah Lee (John), Ponca City, OK and DeAnne Carlson, Lynn Haven, FL; sister, Catherine Ritchie, Sapulpa, OK; 16 grandchildren; 2 great-grandsons, and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Visitation will be held 6:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 24, 2013 followed by a Rosary at 7:00p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 25, 2013 all at Church of the Resurrection.
