Obituary
Richard George Moore, age 85, of Broken Arrow, OK, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2010, in a Tulsa area nursing home. Richard was born to Robert and Rose (Wood) Moore on December 5, 1924, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was married to Hazel Mae Smith until her death in 2002.
Richard served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and then worked as a postal clerk for the U.S. Postal Service until retirement.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Hazel; son, Theodore Moore, in 1992; and parents Robert and Rose Moore. He is survived by his daughter Kitty Moore, of Sallisaw, OK.
A Graveside Service, with military honors, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 23, 2010, at Floral Haven Memorial Garden Cemetery, 6500 S 129th E. Ave., Tulsa, OK.
