Rita Elaine Wilson, 94, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away surround by family and friends on August 21st, 2023 after battling pneumonia.

Rita was born on July 10, 1929 to Leo and Laura Tousignant in Marquette, MI. She was raised and graduated from high school in Ishpeming, Michigan. Rita then went on to study English at Marquette University.

After graduating with a degree in English, she got her masters in social work. Rita worked for Catholic Charities for many years.

Rita married Robert Wilson after graduating from Marquette. They went on to have 4 children, Kathleen, Bryan, SueEllen and Timothy.

Many years after Robert passed away, Rita married Harold Stockdale in 2004. They loved to go dancing and travel.

Rita was predeceased by her first husband Robert, parents Leo and Laura, and husband Harold. She is survived by daughter Kathleen Ruckman (David), son Bryan Wilson, daughter SueEllen Poshard, and Timothy Wilson (Kristine), 9 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren.

Viewing will be at Fitzgerald Ivy Chapel, 1402 S. Boulder Ave., Tulsa, OK, from 10am to 4pm on Friday, August 25th. The Rosary service on Friday, August 25th, at 7:15pm, and the Funeral Mass on Saturday, August 26th at 10am, will both be held at Church of the Madelene, in Tulsa. A reception will follow the Saturday service.
